Re: Camino was drowned
Well I have driven the Camino a bit and everytime I go to use the bike it starts up right away with the choke and let it fall to 50% travel and it runs and operates fine. The spark plug is reading correctly also. I have not been posting here or working on the bike because of having to work on the fa...

Re: Camino was drowned
I definately need a new carburetor then because I have cleaned the carb SO many times and it really is not getting any better. I have the Camino running because I placed a clip on piece of metal to stop the choke from fully opening. The choke will close as normal but now will only open at 50% travel...

Re: Camino was drowned
I will be removing the carb again and giving it another cleaning and I will need to pay attention to the air channel because the air mixture screw does not seem to have any function at all except for if I screw it in all the way until it is seated then the bike stops and does not go at all. I am sti...

YAY THANK YOU Now I have lights - headlight - tail light - brake light PERFECT! Re: Camino was drowned
I have a temporary fuel tank from a lawn mower and new lines at this time so I can take it off completely and work indoors so I am out of the cold. I have finally got the engine to run well and it idles so that is one less problem. I still need to get a airfilter holder so I can put in an airfilter....

Re: I need parts in Canada
Thank you for the paint tip. Will the paint for car bumpers work?
I have seen the prices of the footcovers, even ones that are not white are expensive and perhaps I should look for any colour ones that need repairs and painting also.

Re: Camino was drowned
I just found the instructions from Ironbird8280 for how to take down the engine and remove the carb easily. http://www.camino-tuning.be/howto-manuals/howto-topic-22610.html YAY. I have had to try twice now to get the carb to start working and not leak. Very easy with proper instructions and pictures...

Re: I need parts in Canada
Thank you for your help with my parts need I will look at those sites. Also even black footcovers will be better than no footcovers, I can paint them and try to remember not to scratch off the paint with my feet. GoBieN - I understand the rules are to ensure this forum does not become a Camino eBay....

I need parts in Canada
I saw in the rules that I can not post buy/sell posts but I need some parts for the Camino. Probably stock parts I do not really want to modify the Camino. Also I can fix things that can be fixed so it does not need to be perfect new parts or whatever. I have noticed there are a lot of people that h...

Re: Camino was drowned
Well now I need to play with the carb because it will not stay running for long. It runs but it seems that the fuel bowl inlet is not allowing the bowl to refill with fuel. If I try to restart when it stalls it does not start, if I leave the bike for an h our it will start no problems and run for tw...

Re: Camino was drowned
YAY - that worked. Also I took a gas tank from a lawnmower and connected it to the Camino and put in 100ml only of 4% T2 premix and gave it a try. It ran a nice idle for about two minutes then ran out of fuel. :-D This is the picture of the Camino when we got it last autumn http://img219.imageshack....
