Back to fixing my break.

My good neighbor did som welding on my little break piece/arm or what ever it is called.
I do not got a picture of this, but here it is after i have used a grinder on it and made it square/rectangular
shaped.

Here it is mounted on the plate.

And with brake pads.

Here you can see why I wanted it more rectangular shaped and not round. This makes the
brake shoes open more with less lever movement!

Here is a small video of it in motion :)

I have not tested it on my camino yet, but it looks promising.
Second issue solved :)

I also did put a new bearing in this plate. The bearing is called: 6202 2RS and can be found on Ebay or internet store.
Here is one freely shipped from china:

The stock you by in a camino store, is probably made in china and overpriced :)

For more info what the letters stand for on a bearing visit this page:

I buy my bearings mostly in this webshop:

http://www.detechnoshop.nl/kogellager-%28groef%29/

Perfect service, good quality (I usually buy SKF bearings = perfect quality).

It's a dutch shop, but perhaps they will send it abroard, you can ask them ;-)

By the way: nice sollution with the brake-plate

Again, good job on the braking plate! Looks like it is working properly now :)

On the parts for the gearbox, I too reused my needle bearings because they were still in good condition.
Are you going to replace the two o-rings aswell? Because you didn't sum them up in your ordered parts.
Measurements of the o-rings are: 6,8x1,9 and 16x1,9

I'm new to this website and I noticed you had five stars. Are you willing to sell them or would you happen to know where I can get my hands on a pair for my hobbit?
