Another new Camino owner

Post by steadyeddie »

Hi everyone, I've just joined after buying a camino. No doubt I'll be asking lots of questions over the next few months :-D .

My camino came without a reg plate or log book so I'm struggling to find out what year it is. The frame number begins Pa50 D 130..... and the vin plate says 49 kg, 30mph (so at least it's not a slow one!) It doesn't have a battery, indicators, kill switch or even an ignition barrel, so I know it's an early model.

I'll post some pics soon

I'm still trying to get this running, the tank was full of rust so cleaned that out, put new fuel filter on it, new spark plug and cleaned the carb. Getting the carb off isn't the easiest thing to do is it!?

The air filter crumbled to bits when I removed it so need a new one. I've got a nice spark when I pedal but the plug is dry so looks like I didn't clean the carb well enough :( looks like i'll be taking it off again and doing it properly this time
