How big can i drill my standard 12mm mikuni carburator, and can i use my standard cylinderhead on a 70cc athena cylinder?

a camino has a keihin 12mm original, and you can drill it till 15mm as i thought :wink: 

and yes, you can use you're 50cc cilinderhead on a 70cc :wink:

When you place 2 metal plates in between the carters en the cylinder.

you can make the original carburator bigger but better not with a standard bore, better try an oval shape whth some tuning tools, so you won't damage the spcial channels on the sides that you don't see... till you damaged them.

a standard cilinder head is perfect possible but you have a chance that the piston hits it, you can feel it it you turn the flyweel around very slowly, you can place an extra head sealing but also a foot sealing, in my opinion it's better to place a foot sealing, so al the ports opens more and the flow is better

Okay thanks for the help, but i think that i later on will buy a 20mm dell'orto spaco carburator, but can you make the standard intake big enough? it's just because you can't buy a bigger one here in Denmark

with an original one should be good enough if you adjust jour main jet, don't forget changing exhaust, variator rolls, clutch springs,...

How heavy shall my variator rolls be?, and where can i get some new clutch springs?

you need lighter variator rolls and stronger springs this will improve your acceleration very much, you can alwais buy parts by http://www.mopshop.de, it's an excellent service
