Hello and greetings from norway!
I have a question for all u camino experts
How many % oil dobu guys mix in the tank? On all of my caminos its stated on the frame that it needs 4% oil. Never really thought much about and just mixed 4%. But camino is the only moped i have ever seen that says 4% normally i mix 2% on my other bikes, can someone explain to me if i can start mixing 2% or the reason i need to mix 4%. Thanks alot!

Re: Honda Camino oil mixture?
Are you still running the normal setup with the 50cc cilinder?
In the old days because of oil quality 4% was advised, but now with full synthetic oil from a good brand for original setup 2% will be fine.

Re: Honda Camino oil mixture?
Thanks for input.
I got the Athena cylinder, 21 Dellorto carb, TJT Variator, Proma exhost and malossi gears in my local oil store they dont sell syntethic two stroke oil, only mineral. So i drive it whit mineral.
Thanks

I've been out for a long time, but i think the Athena cylinder is not a cast-iron but aluminium cylinder.
You have a Dellorto carb with a bigger throughput hole (sproeier?) than original.
You are using mineral oil, I think it's better to go a little higher than 2% because of the mineral oil.
I would suggest 3% or 4%. With the 4% you could check your piston after 100km and check if there is not too much burned oil sticking on to it.
You should also check the color of your spark plug too see if it's a nice coffee brown.
