You won't be able to connect your lights ..

so this is a race-ignition, normally there is a spool for your ignition and one ore more for your lights..

I think this isn't a eletrical starter, bit its an electronic based ignition, what gives far better sparks tothe engine, so you can get more power because your ignition timing is a 100% correct !

Shoot me if i'm wrong, been out of the scene for a while now.
