Re: Honda Camino 65cc kit
Well i did try to put them on without a tool to test. But its not possible at all. ( And yes i did use grease.) And i do not have the money to buy you plane ticket to get here and put them on for me without tool. I do understand your consern but I will have something squeezing the tires together making enought room for me to spray paint the whole rim.
Re: Honda Camino 65cc kit
In the middle of the rim there's a dench, the trick consists in pushing the edge of the tire into that dench to release the pressure. That way you never need to use tools to put on a tire and you even don't need heavy tools to take them off too.

Re: Honda Camino 65cc kit
Okei I have tried what you mentioned, but the tire is way to tight to get off without tool.
If I understand you right, I need to squeeze the tire edges into the middle of the rim to get the most room.
I tried this and i am sorry to say with no luck. This new tire is really tight, or I am to weak to get it off.

In the middle of the rim there is a ditch, in other words: the inside diameter of the rim is smaller in the middle than on the sides.kalinkamaen wrote:Okei I am not shure what a dench are, but just for you I will try this once more and see

The tyre has a steel-cable in the edges/sides of the tyre. If you squeesh the tyre and 'put' these cables inside the 'ditch' of the rim on one side, you have more space to put the cables on the other side over the rim (with less force).
This way I even managed to put my rear tyre in this project on the rim without any tool (I only used my hands, some grease, a piece of cloth to lay onder the rim/tyre for protection when I used my feet at last when I needed some forse).

Re: Honda Camino 65cc kit
Hello guys.
I have an issue with my rear spring. I know its to soft for my setup, but its softer then
stock. Its really bad. Anyway, I have read allot about rear spring on US forums, and i can see that they have had some
luck changing to stiffer rear spring etc. But i can also see that US rear vario is not the same as the EU
rear vario. I have never opened any of them, but you can read about it here:
US version:
http://www.mopedarmy.com/wiki/Honda_PA_ ... Version.29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
EU version:
http://www.mopedarmy.com/wiki/Honda_PA_ ... Version.29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Is there anyone with experience with another spring setup then stock on EU version? Is the spring on EU version the same as US version?
I have been looking in to this, but there is no experience out there:

Re: Honda Camino 65cc kit
What do you mean by that you do not have that here? Is your rear pulley without spring? And not variating?
Yes i know i can buy a new spring, i just wanted to know if some one have tried a stiffer spring like this one:
