Oki guys, here is some updates from me. Better late then never.

First of all, the rims are painted and ready to mount.

Earlier in this tread I mentioned that i bought a spare Camino. Well the spare engine lookes like this now:

And it is waiting for a new racing crank to arrive

I also had 2 rear pulley as spares. I have opened both and installed 2 different springs in them with different tension.
This will be good when trying to tune the vario. These are both US versions and not EU version rear pulleys. Eu version
pulleys do not have different springs to choose from.

I also bought this racing gears that i have mounted in a Jialing CJ 50 transmission box (camino china copy)

Had to move some parts from my spare box to make everything identical

I didn't know that about these difference between the US pulley and the EU pulley. Thanks for the tip!

Hey there, you're back

If you look at the US rear pulley (it's acually the old type and the one with holes the new type) you can see the rear half has a bigger center. Because of this the belt will not beable to pull itself as deep into the pulley as it would with the newer version. So I believe your TJT doesn't go all the way up because it's fisically limited by the rear pulley.

You know that with both the TJT and the gears you will probably hit the 90 km/h ?

Madmac thank you very much for your input. I did not know this difference. I will have this in mind when trying out different setups.

On my camino i now have a EU version installed and when driving i have seen that my TJT is going all the way. But I have never tried this out with
a US version. The problem i have now is that the rear spring is too loose and it makes the moped downshift. I have tried to compensate this with
less weights on the vario. But then i have issues that my TJT doesnt open all the way. I have talked to this crazy guy:

also the downshifting is a combination between the rollers and the spring. there is a fine balance. rollers wont do it by its self.

but the back spring plays a major roll in that.

When it comes to Malossi gears yeah i know i will get more speed, but i am not 100% sure i will use them on,
If i loose to much low end power i will trough back original transmission box.

I bought them because I am way to curious

I stronly believe the spring in both rear pulleys are the same size. That would mean that the new springs are also useable in the pulley with the holes in it.

Madmac you are right on one thing. And that is that there are more play on the EU version (New) then the US version (Old).
And the difference is to big that i will probably loose little top end (speed).

But you are wrong on the spring size. See for your self:

I really need to find a stronger spring for the EU version.

original spring by putting some "rondellen" on it...if you can understand my flemisch englisch.

And your english is just perfect. Its 100% better then my Belgian language.

Anyway this is a good suggestion, but i am not 100% sure if it will be that much stronger than stock.
When the spring is installed in the pulley it is almost squeezed all the way in. So some millimeters
extra would not give me the tension I need.

I found a company in that sells many different springs. And i found 4 springs with different tensions on them and almost the
correct dimensions on them. I have ordered them and looking forward to see if it will work. I will offcourse keep you guys updated on this

Got my transmission gasket to day, so i opened my Honda copy Transmission box and installed the gasket.
Here is ome pictures. If someone wants to go the same way I will explain the difference on a Honda camino
transmission and the copy.

On this picture you can see the Malossi gaer installed. The original parts
are laying on the table.

Filled her up with oil. Almost all the way up. Is this wrong? I do not have a clue
how much she needs.

Finished assembled, topped with oil.

The only difference between original and copy transmission box is part
nr 6 in this picture. It is VERY easy to change and the original part fits 100%

You remember my green beautiful cable taped all the way to my back lights

GONE!!!

I hope my tires want touch the cable, then i have to lift her an put on a bigger carb. Wops!
