I think that the rust will come back again. you will have to deal with it yet another product that stops rust.

No problem, i do understand everything you write.
And yes you are correct on this. The rust will come back if you do not put on a sealer. I will do this later,
but as long as I keep my Camino in my garage it will stay fine.

Still some glue on my paint as you can see:



Here i used some rubbing from Scholl.



And yes I need to give it som wax/and sealer due to rubbing away the protection
from last year:)

I am looking for a rear brake plate for my camino. Please spread the rumor. I have not found any one on internet yet.

Desided to fix my brake plate I have two issues with it. First problem guess? No threads. hehe

Bought this kit today.

Drilled 8,3 mm hole. With the bit that came with this set.

Then made new threads with this tap that came with the kit.

Installed the new threads inside with the tool that came with the kit

New threads
Ahhh


Did this also to the next hole

Problem 1 solved.

Problem nr 2 this little thing makes my brake really bad.

I do not know how this should look like new, but my Neighbor are going to weld on both sides where the arrows are.
So it will be little bit wider. And i will grind it more rectangular shaped. It is now round in everycorner and makes the
break really bad.

Any supporting feedback on this would be great.

So i recieved my 4 different springs today, darn I am exited 
First of all her is the spesifications on the springs:


I wanted to test the compression of these springs, against my stock/original spring.
So i made this spring stopper out of toilet paper cardboard. This tool will make it easy
for me to compress all springs at equal length. I know its un-professionale but its giving me
some compare factors.


The height on tool is 27,5 mm and fits inside the pulley where the spring goes:

First off was my stock spring.

First spring was my spring with less compression:


Second spring little more compression.


Third spring more compression:


Fourth spring heaviest one:


Summary:
Stock spring: 27,4 kg
first spring: 25,0 kg
second spring: 26,3 kg
third spring: 34,3 kg 25,18 % increase in compression
fourth spring: 42,7 kg 55,84 % increase in compression
My conclusion from this is that I think I will go for spring nr 3 34,3 kg and see where i am at
3rd spring % increase = 25,18%
34.3 - 27.4 = 6.9
( 6.9 / 27.4 ) * 100 = 25.18 %
4th spring % incease = 55.84 %
42.7 - 27.4 = 15.3
( 15.3 / 27.4 ) * 100 = 55.84 %
Here is an example of some % numbers on a scooter spring:
Uprated BGM rear pulley spring
Please note this is for the MINARELLI engine only
Ideal for tuned engines, helps stop belt slip
45% stronger than standard
Also available as 20% and 90% stronger!

I have been doing some research on ebay when it comes to rear springs.
Rear pulley springs comes in 4 different colors for scooters. White, blue,
yellow and red.
Please correct me if I am wrong here. But on all the springs i have looked at on ebay the color
means different types of compression on spring.
Red =90% stronger than stock
Yellow = 45 % stronger than stock
Blue = 8-15 % stronger than stock.
White = This one I never found any % compared to stock so I am not sure. Could be equal to stock. I do not know.
I have also been told that red spring is for extreme builds, something that i do not have. I still have my stock carburator.
Yellow i have been told you can use for mild builds, where bigger cylinder, performance exhaust and bigger jet, etc.
Blue i have not been told anything about, but I m guessing a milder build than yellow with and upgraded exhaust only or similar.
So in percentage on my build i should be aiming for yellow spring 45% +- stronger than stock. Please correct me if I am way out here.
So I have changed my mind here and aiming for using the strongest spring. Nr 4 in earlier post. This is by my testing 55% +- stronger than my stock.
This is ofcourse 10% stronger than my stock compared to yellow scooter spring. But my old spring has probably lost some compression strength over the years. So it could be spot on.
I have installed this inside my pulley and its looking good. The EU pulley now feels a tiny bit less compression strength than my US pulley with yellow spring installed.
I really looking forward to test this setup. I am not able to open the pulley by hand so i can not be 100% sure that it will open fully.
But i does look like it should not have any issues to open all the way.
